About Hawk Builders
I started building in 1999, at just 15 years old, working alongside my father and cousin as a labourer. My early days were spent cleaning building sites, moving materials and learning the basics of the trade from the ground up.
Three years later, I began studying carpentry at Reading College, developing my skills and building a strong foundation for my career. It was not long before I was working for myself, and in 2006 I started Hawk Builders.
Initially, Hawk Builders focused mainly on smaller projects, including kitchens and bathrooms. As the business grew, so did the projects. Before long, I was taking on extensions and loft conversions, and by 2010 I had moved into larger projects covering all aspects of the build, from the initial structural work through to the final finishes.
Now, in 2026, I have completed numerous extensions, loft conversions and renovation projects across Berkshire and Surrey, building a strong and loyal client base along the way.
Over the years, we have taken on some challenging and technically complex projects, and these are often the jobs I enjoy the most. I thrive on finding solutions to difficult problems and working closely with clients to turn their ideas and visions into beautiful, practical spaces that genuinely improve their homes.
Although we now undertake larger projects, we have never forgotten where we started. We still enjoy helping local people with smaller jobs and improvements, whether that is installing a TV bracket or mirror, carrying out repairs, or simply providing advice and guidance when someone needs a hand.
For me, building has always been about more than just the construction itself. It is about working with people, overcoming challenges, taking pride in the details and creating something that clients can enjoy for years to come.
After more than 25 years in the trade, I am still passionate about what I do, and I am always happy to help existing and new customers in the local area.
